The designer Noriko Chisaki happened to learn making a beret and then was really into the exquisite world. She started to make a hats by herself and strike out on her own after being a designer in a hats company for 12 years. She established Maison Enku inc. and started her own brand "Chisaki" from 2016 SS collection sticks to made in Japan as she places much values to Japanese craftsmanship and their technics.
